It’s official. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the face of the new NBA2Kgame, as it was officially announced today in front of Greek and international press in Athens, Greece.
The leaked cover proved to be the right one and Giannis becomes the first international player who becomes an NBA2K cover athlete. In the past players like Spanish center Pau Gasol and French guard Tony Parker were also used as cover athletes, but only for the local editions of the game in their respective home countries.
“It’s a great honor and I am excited. I was dreaming about this and I wanted to make a path for the non-American players”, said Giannis.
