Nemanja Bjelica to become a free agent

By Eurohoops team/ info@eurohoops.net

Nemanja Bjelica will become an unrestricted free agent since the Minnesota Timberwolves withdrew their qualifying offer on him, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The Serbian forward was previously an RFA until the Timberwolves pulled their qualifying offer.

After recovering from a left-foot injury problem in the first half of the season, Bjelica returned to action to deliver some of the top performances of his NBA run so far, including a career-high 30 points vs. the Boston Celtics. The 2015 EuroLeague MVP finished the season with 6.8 points and 4.1 rebounds over 20 minutes per game.

Bjelica will have to look for the next station of his career since the Timberwolves are acquiring veteran Anthony Tolliver (per NBA reporter David Aldridge) to fill the Serbian player’s spot in their roster.
