Veteran Spanish guard Jose Calderon has a one-year, 2.4M agreement with the Detroit Pistons, according to Chris Haynes of ESPN. The 36-year-old player will embark on the 14th NBA season in his professional career and will switch teams for the seventh time in the league.
Calderon will return to Detroit where he had a brief stint in 2013. Back then, he averaged 11.6 points and 6.6 assists in 28 games as a starter for the Pistons.
In the previous season, Calderon played for the Cleveland Cavaliers. He posted 4.5 points, 2.1 assists and 1.5 rebounds per game.
