DeMarcus Cousins, who’s currently recovering from a torn ACL, has agreed to a one year, $5.3 million deal, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
27-year-old Cousins averaged 25.2 points, 12.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists while shooting 35.4% from the three-point line in 48 games last season with the New Orleans Pelicans.
With Cousins’ addition, the back-to-back champions strengthened their roster even more and at the same time, this move will offer the player time and comfort to recover from his aforementioned injury.
