Brad Wanamaker is in Boston and is being introduced to the Celtics‘ organization and media. On Monday, the former Fenerbahce Dogus Istanbul guard signed a deal with the Celtics.
As Chris Forsberg of ESPN reported, Brad Wanamaker stated that for him to play in the NBA is like a dream: “Over the past couple of years, I thought I was ready for the jump. The opportunity wasn’t there. … It’s a dream come true to play in the NBA and with a team like Boston.”
In the 2017-2018 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague season, the American combo guard averaged 11.5 points (45.6% FG, 35.0% 3-PT, 83.3% FT), 2.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.14 steals in 24.0 minutes.
