Tony Parker will be signing with the Charlotte Hornets, according to Remi Reverchon of French bEIN Sports. Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Parker has agreed to two-year, 10M deal with Charlotte.

Nicolas Batum, Parker’s longtime teammate in the French national teammate, plus his partner in French club ASVEL, teased the news on Twitter, just seconds before the first reports appeared.

Parker leaves San Antonio and the Spurs after 17 years full of titles, awards, trophies and various honors. With the Spurs, the 36-year-old French guard won the NBA championship title four times (being the most decorated European player in NBA history), was a six-time NBA All-Star plus the 2007 Finals MVP. He was named in the All-NBA Second Team three times and once in the All-NBA Third Team.

Per ESPN, Parker became just the third player that played for a single team after 17 seasons and then signed elsewhere. The other two? Karl Malone and Hakeem Olajuwon.
