Swedish forward Jonas Jerebko is en route to the Golden State Warriors, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Jerebko, 31, was waived by the Utah Jazz and looks to signing a one-year contract with the reigning NBA champions, once he clears waivers. The player will become a free agent on Monday if a team doesn’t claim him until then.
The Warriors can sign Jerebko to a minimum deal. During the previous season, Jerebko averaged 5.8 points and 3.3 rebounds over 18 minutes per game with the Jazz. He has an averaged of 6.2 points during eight years in the NBA.
