Even if he wanted to sign a ‘max deal’ this off-season, Isaiah Thomas has agreed to sign a one-year $2M deal (veteran minimum) with the Denver Nuggets, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The Nuggets will be Thomas’ fourth team in a year. Last season he was traded from the Boston Celtics to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the off-season, and then eventually before the deadline was part of a deal that sent him to Los Angeles to play for the Lakers. Throughout the 2017-2018 season, Isaiah Thomas did not perform well. He averaged 15.2 points (37.3% FG) and 4.8 assists per game.
Unfortunately for him, the injury he suffered last year affected his game a lot.
