Clint Capela and Houston Rockets have agreed to a five-year, $90M extension, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The 24-year-old Swiss big man was a restricted free agent and will return to the franchise for the next five seasons, after first joining the team in 2014.
After being selected with the 25th overall pick by the Rockets, Capela was assigned to Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA G-League, then returned in 2015.
Capela averaged 13.9 points and 10.8 rebounds in 74 games with Houston last season.
