JR Holden, a EuroLeague champion with CSKA Moscow and a Eurobasket winner with Russia, is the new international scout of the Philadelphia 76ers, as Keith Pompey reported.
Holden has already four years of experience under his belt as the Detroit Pistons head of international scouting.
As a player, he had a great career in Europe mainly with CSKA Moscow and played as naturalized Russian with the national team of his adopted country alongside Andrey Kirilenko and under coach David Blatt. He made the winning shot in the Eurobasket 2007 final in Spain against the home country and a roster that included among other Pau Gasol.
