Belgrade – Frank Kaminsky is having a great time at Belgrade in the Basketball Without Borders camp and as he admits, NBA is currently one of the most globalized leagues in the world.
“When you are in the NBA you get to meet more and more people from different parts of the world, but they are all great players“, said Kaminsky. “They might be little differences in their game, but it’s cool to see all those different cultures which are progressing the game of basketball“.
Giannis Antetokounmpo can be the poster boy of that idea: “Giannis has a great story. He came in the league and he was kind of unknown, but the way he is growing into one of the best players of the NBA, it makes you think how far he has come in such a short amount of time“.
Kaminsky has faced Giannis numerous times and he was asked if the Greek Freak is now the best player in the East. His answer was carefully and eloquently expressed: “You can make the argument that Giannis is the best player in the East. I don’t want to say who is the best player because people like to take what you say and run with it. However, he is definitely one of the best players in the East“.
