According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Rockets have traded forward Ryan Anderson to Phoenix for Brandon Knight and Marquese Chriss.
Anderson still had a two-year contract left with the Houston side, worth of $41M, while last season he averaged 9.1 points per game.
With this trade, the Rockets clean up space for the power forward position, with Carmelo Anthony as a possible starter, if not for Chriss.
Anderson could add scoring abilities to the Suns, next to guard Devin Booker and the team’s No. 1 pick in the 2018 draft, Deantre Ayton.
