Giannis Antetokounmpo had 15 points and 12 rebounds in just 23 minutes, Turk Ersan Ilyasova added 16 points off the bench and the Bucks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 125-95.
“Tonight’s exactly how we want to play,” Antetokounmpo said. “I think we did a great job moving the ball, playing hard. And especially, I think they scored like 16 points in the first quarter? We were playing hard defensively, and we were moving the ball offensively.”
The Clippers beat the Rockets 133-113 with Serb guard Milos Teodosic playing his first game for the season. He had 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in 17 minutes of action.
Another Serb, Nemanja Bjelica made three of his career-high-tying six 3-pointers in the fourth quarter and had a key block on John Wall late as the Kings beat the Washington Wizards 116-112.
