Omri Casspi didn’t help the Memphis Grizzlies last night, but was honored before his team’s game with the Golden State Warriors at the “Oracle Arena”. He didn’t dress because of knee soreness, but he was presented with the NBA 2017-18 Championship Ring.
The Israeli forward wasn’t even in the Warriors’ roster during last year’s playoffs. His ankle injury cut his season short, while the team waived him to make room for Quinn Cook on the playoff roster. He did play in 52 regular season games and recorded 5.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and one assist per game.
