What a night! Kemba Walker scored 60 points in Charlotte Hornets’ defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia 76ers. He became the first player in Hornets’ history with a 60-point night, but his big game was spoiled when Jimmy Butler drained a clutch three-pointer as overtime expired.
Per Elias Sports Bureau, the 28-year-old American guard became the first player in NBA history with 7 or less points in the match before a 60-point night! He also became the 2nd player after Wilt Chamberlain with a 60-point game against the Sixers!
Walker finished with 21/34 from the field and made all of his 12 free throws. He also grabbed seven rebounds and dished four assists in 45 minutes.
