Joakim Noah and the Memphis Grizzlies have had extensive discussions in recent days, according to Marc Stein.
The French big man last played for the New York Knicks (2016-18) in 53 games over two seasons while only seven of those were in the 2017-18. He has been a free agent since mid-October when the Knicks waived him.
Before the Knicks, the 33-year-old veteran played with the Chicago Bulls for nine seasons.
