Joakim Noah is planning to meet with the Memphis Grizzlies next week and agree to a deal, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.
The Grizzlies were previously reported to be discussing a potential agreement with the veteran French center who had been a free agent after being waived by the New York Knicks on October.
Noah, 33, played 53 games for the Nicks in two seasons and appeared in just seven matches in 2017-2018. The player had a feud with then-head coach Jeff Hornaceck following a heated verbal incident and was considered essentially out of the team since January 2018.
