It doesn’t happen often, but on Sunday the Orlando Magic swept their season series with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Nikola Vucevic had an unbelievable game in the Staples Center on Sunday. He posted 31 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, three blocks and two steals in 36 minutes. The 28-year-old center was the player to watch in Orlando Magic’s away victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Vucevic has really been dominating lately. However, Orlando was also happy for another entirely different reason. The Magic swept their season series with the Lakers for the third time in the organization’s history, only second time in a 2-game series, as 2018-19’s.

The 2008-09 season was up to Sunday the only year the Magic didn’t lose to the Lakers in any of the two matches between the teams. In 2011-12 they got the win in the only game and returned to their sweeping ways this season.
