New York Knicks head coach David Fizdale admitted that there are certain levels difficulty when it comes to containing the action of Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, ahead of the game between the two teams Saturday (1/12).
“You got a tractor? A tank? Obviously, we can throw schemes at him and stuff like that. The guy is right now, to me, the best player in the league. He’s playing at the highest level. You gotta throw the whole house at him,” Fizdale said per Mike Vorkunov of The Athletic.
Antetokounmpo and the Bucks will look to improve their 15-6 record vs. the Knicks that want to bounce back following two losses in a row vs. the Detroit Pistons and the Philadelphia 76ers. For the “Greek Freak” the game is also a return to the “scene of the crime” since last season he delivered what was widely considered as perhaps the top dunk of 2017-2018 when he literally jumped over Tim Hardaway Jr for the slam.
