Luka Doncic went on a personal 11-0 run to lead the Dallas Mavericks to their win against the Houston Rockets on Saturday. The Slovenian forward once again proved his clutch value with his eleven consecutive points, which included three three-pointers. He totally turned the game around entering the final minute.
ESPN’s Tim MacMahon relays that Doncic is tied with Victor Oladipo at the top of the standings of the players with the best clutch field goal percentage in the NBA’s current regular season (minimum 15 attempts). Both of them have sank 63.6% of their clutch shots, Jarrett Allen, Bradley Beal and Tobias Harris follow with 60%, Giannis Antetokounmpo has 56.5% and Derrick Rose 56.3%.
It’s surely an impressive feat. It’s even greater if you consider that Doncic is merely an NBA rookie.
