The New York Knicks held a French Heritage Night on Sunday. Their only French player, Frank Ntilikina, rose to the occasion and posted 18 points, all in the second half, but wasn’t enough for the “W” against the visiting Charlotte Hornets. However, he did prove he deserves a spot in his team’s rotation after recently falling out of it.
The Hornets got some French of their own, Tony Parker and Nicolas Batum. The 36-year-old point guard faced 20-year-old Ntilikina in multiple occasions and showed his stuff at the Madison Square Garden with 16 points in 17 minutes.
