Thursday’s game between the Houston Rockets and the Los Angeles Lakers was special for James Harden. The 29-year-old American led his team to victory with 50 points, 11 assists and ten rebounds. Per Elias Sports, he became the first player in NBA history with four 50-point triple-doubles.
Up to Thursday, Harden was tied with Russell Westbrook. Both of them had three career 50-point triple-doubles. Wilt Chamberlain and Elgin Baylor are the only two other players that had put up more than one 50-point triple-double, two each.
