Washington Wizards guard John Wall is planning to be operated on his left heel in order to repair bone spurs according to ESPN. The surgery will keep Wall out for the remainder of 2018-2019 since his recovery will take six months.
Wall considered to continue playing despite the injury but was advised to have the surgery by a specialist he met Saturday (29/12). The plan for Wall is to miss the season now but return fully healthy for 2019-2020.
In 2018-2019, Wall has been averaging 20.7 points and 8.7 assists.
