Eurohoops’ own George Efkarpides talked with Kostas Koufos about the 2018-19 Regular Season, his teammate at the Sacramento Kings Bogdan Bogdanovic and Luka Doncic’s rise in the NBA. The 29-year-old forward/center also answered a question about the Greek National Team.
“Bogdan is a very smart player” he mentioned. Koufos went on saying: “He’s improving every year. He plays the right way. He knows when to score, when to pass. He’s a good defender. He’s been huge for us this year”.
The 19-year-old Slovenian is showing his stuff in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks and Koufos said: “Luka is a rare talent. He’s got a lot of experience overseas. He’s a very big guard, he’s very skilled”.
On the Greek National Team and the FIBA World Cup: “I’m very proud to be a Greek-American. It’s very important for me to play for the National Team. However, right now it’s too far to tell”.
