Aleksej Pokusevski earned a place in the Basketball Without Borders of the NBA All Star Game. He has only played for Olympiacos junior team and Serbia’s U17 team but has turned enough heads to get the call ahead of the fifth annual BWB during the NBA All Star Game.
Many promising talents from all around the world take part in the various Basketball Without Borders events. NBA’s and FIBA’s collaboration give the chosen youngsters a chance to train with top coaches. About the BWB of the NBA All Star Game, in particular, last year 65 boys and girls from 36 countries took part in the camp.
Pokusevski will leave for the States in February. He will prepare himself there hoping to be ready for his newest challenge, the BWB in Charlotte.
The NBA All Star Game itself will be played on February 17th at the Spectrum Center, home of the Charlotte Hornets.
