New York Knicks center Enes Kanter is discussed to be traded for Sacramento Kings center Zach Randolph according to ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Kanter’s contract is expiring at the end of the season and so is Randolph’s deal with the Kings. Thus the two teams want to trade their assets before they become free agents on summer. The Kings want to involve more players with expiring contracts in a potential trade.
The Knicks acquired Kanter during the Carmelo Anthony trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2017. This season, the Turkish center has been averaging 14.4 points and 11 rebounds over 26.5 minutes in 41 games.
