The 33-year-old Spaniard center went off for 26 points in 14 rebounds in the win against the San Antonio Spurs.
The six-game losing streak is now behind the Grizzlies. The visitors came to the FedEx Forum with a five-game winning streak, but couldn’t hold on to it despite Pau Gasol’s seven points and 12 rebounds in 20 minutes. Wednesday’s game with the 38-year-old center’s second one following his lengthy injury absence.
