The Los Angeles Lakers often assign their European youngsters to their G League affiliate. Svi Mykhailiuk is the one that takes on bigger offensive responsibilities for the South Bay Lakers proving such on Saturday with a 29-point performance. His teammate Moritz Wagner added 17 points. However the Lakers suffered a 122-115 overtime loss to the Canton Charge.
Their teammate Isaac Bonga also got some action, but Isaiah Hartenstein broke through Mykhailiuk and Wagner to grab second place honors in the G League Weekly European Report. Belgians Retin Obasohan and Manu Lecomte rounded up the Top 5.
