Memphis Grizzlies, Marc Gasol and Mike Conley might have reached a crossroad, with the team reportedly ready to listen to trade options for both of its stars until the trade deadline on February 7.
Per the same report by ESPN, Memphis will be pursuing typical deal packages in dealing veteran stars, including some combination of young talent, draft picks and salary-cap relief, given Gasol’s veteran age and the money owed to Conley through 2021.
If a possible trade gets on hold, Gasol can become a free agent this summer by opting out of the final year of his $25.5 million contract.
