The Dallas Mavericks extended their winning streak over the New York Knicks at the Madison Square Garden. Dirk Nowitzki was there all through the run, but possibly for the last time on Wednesday. He posted a season-high 14 points. “I knew if I get a chance I was going to step into some” he said on his 5/7 field goals.
The New York crowd cheered for the 40-year-old German offering him a standing ovation. “I always enjoyed playing here. If it was my last time it was definitely one of my most favorite places to play” Nowitzki mentioned following the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season game.
