Kristaps Porzingis will be a restricted free agent this summer, but Mark Cuban isn’t worried. The Dallas Mavericks owner believes the 23-year-old will be a part of his team’s roster for many years and repeated so on ESPN: “All the conversations so far have been positive. Unless something we don’t expect pops up, hopefully he’ll be a Maverick for the next twenty years”.
The following couple of decades were on Cuban’s mind when his team secured the Latvian forward/center, but went on explaining that there’s no rush on Porzingis return after his left knee injury. “Better just to play it safe. We tend to trust our doctors” he mentioned.
