Goran Dragic has recovered from his right knee surgery, which prevented him from helping the Miami Heat the past two and a half months. He was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice and travelled with his teammates to Philadelphia ahead of Thursday’s match with the Philadelphia 76ers, per the Heat.
Erik Spoelstra confirmed that the Slovenian guard will be available for the first NBA 2018-19 Regular Season game after the All-Star Game break. However he indicated Dragic won’t be rushed into big playing minutes right from the start.
Before being inserted in the Heat’s injury list, the experienced guard had 15.3 points, 4.9 assists and 3.1 rebounds per contest. His return is certainly a positive note on Miami’s quest for a playoffs spot.
