Thursday was a big night for Boban Marjanovic. During the first evening of action following the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season All-Star break, the 30-year-old Serb center surpassed the 1.000 point mark and made three key free throws down the stretch securing the “W” for the Philadelphia 76ers over the Miami Heat.
Marjanovic was an instant success starting for the first time for the Sixers. He covered for injured Joel Embiid with 19 points, 12 boards, two assists and one block in 27 minutes. He was the man of the match and Brett Brown praised him when he searched for his “Serbian friend”, as he called him, to ring the bell!
