The NBA-leading Milwaukee Bucks narrowly beat the Boston Celtics in the first night of NBA 2018-19 Regular Season action following the All-Star Game. Giannis Antetokounmpo posted 30 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal in 37 minutes, but for a second believed his effort wasn’t enough. “I thought it was going in, thank God it didn’t” he mentioned after the match commenting on Kyrie Irving’s missed shot at the buzzer.

On the importance of the “W”, the Greek Freak pointed out: “It says a lot about this team and how focused we are to get back on track. We weren’t playing our best basketball, but we were up six and won the game”.

His new teammate, Nikola Mirotic debuted with the Bucks after recovering from his right calf injury and notched eight points in 14 minutes. “I think we have done a great job as a team to fit him in” Antetokounmpo said after the game.
