Atlanta Hawks forward John Collins thinks that his former Wake Forest teammate Dinos Mitoglou, currently with Panathinaikos in Greece, has what it takes to make the jump to the NBA.
“I think his game translates perfectly [to the NBA]. Being a bigger guy. He’s probably 7 feet now. Putting on that muscle. He can shoot the cap off the rim. He can play in any league when he can do those things,” Collins said to Eurohoops.
Collins and Mitoglou spent two seasons (2015 to 2017) playing together with the jersey of Wake Forest’s Demon Deacons so the Hawks player is quite aware of the Greek forward’s capabilities.
“Hopefully I can see him in the NBA one day,” Collins mentioned.
