In front of the Denver Nuggets‘ win vs. the Dallas Mavericks on Friday (22/2), Nikola Jokic – who flirted with a triple-double – took part in an interview with Vic Lombardi on Altitude TV. When asked about his future with the Nuggets and would he like to spend his whole career there, the Joker was ready for it:
“Oh yeah. I was talking to Tim Connelly. I can be the Tim Duncan of Denver Nuggets. Denver Nuggets Tim Duncan. Kind of a funny thing to think about but it could be one a reality”, Jokic said, per Adam Mares.
Tim Duncan spent his entire 19-season-long career with the San Antonio Spurs during which he amassed over 25,000 points, 15,000 rebounds, and 3,000 blocks. Not to mention the five championship rings. Jokic is currently having his fourth season with the Nuggets by which he was drafted back in 2014.
