Nikola Jokic scored eight points down the stretch and finished with 36 for the Denver Nuggets in their 121-112 win against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He also dished ten helpers, but needed one more rebound for the triple-double. Juan Hernangomez didn’t play on Tuesday. Dennis Schroder notched 11 points for the losing side at the Pepsi Center.
Without Mario Hezonja (left leg) and Frank Ntilikina (groin) in their lineup, the New York Knicks overtook the Orlando Magic, 108-103. Nikola Vucevic put up a 26-point, 11-rebound double-double at the Madison Square Garden, Evan Fournier added 15 points and Timofey Mozgov (right knee) remained out.
The other game of the night saw the Toronto Raptors beat the Boston Celtics, 118-95. Serge Ibaka helped out with 14 points. OG Anunoby and Marc Gasol scored five apiece. Guerschon Yabusele posted five points for the visitors, but Daniel Theis didn’t get on the board at the Scotiabank Arena.
