From any other point of view, Wednesday’s NBA 2018-19 Regular Season match was about LeBron James passing Michael Jordan in the all-time scoring list. However, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center, snapped a three-game losing streak and cut their distance from the Western Conference leaders, the Golden State Warriors, to one win.
Nikola Jokic didn’t light up the house with his 12 points, but did notch four points down the stretch smothering the hosts’ comeback attempt. He was 3/5 from the field, also grabbed 17 rebounds, and dished eight helpers and added three steals to his tally in 35 minutes of action.
