The Golden State Warriors lost to the Phoenix Suns at home and Kevin Durant left the contest after bruising his right ankle during the fourth quarter. He walked off under his own power, which might mean he avoided a significant injury down the stretch of the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season. However he will go through tests to determine the severity of the injury.
Despite their unexpected defeat, the Warriors are still on top of the Western Conference standings, one and a half win ahead of the Denver Nuggets and four wins ahead of the Houston Rockets. Durant, 30, is averaging 27.4 points, 6.7 rebounds and 5.7 assists per match this season.
