The Denver Nuggets are now one win away from punching in their 2019 NBA playoffs ticket. They defeated the Indiana Pacers at the Pepsi Center in spite of playing the last three minutes without Nikola Jokic. They lost a seven-point lead after their leader’s ejection, but Paul Millsap hit the game-winning layup with seven seconds to go.

Jokic had 26 points, seven rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes before being tossed from the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season contest. He got called for a foul with 2:56 remaining and yelled at referee Tony Brothers, who decided to end his night.

His 26 points were enough for a game-high on Saturday. After the match he said: “We won. That’s the most important thing”. However, when asked if he’ll try to keep his emotions in check: “It’s extremely hard because it’s not equal for everybody”.
