With five seconds remaining and the score 124 – 123 in the game between the New York Knicks and the L.A. Lakers, Mario Hezonja pulled off a defense to be remembered.
Lebron James drove to the basket in an attempt to score the game-winner and Hezonja not only forced him to take a difficult jumper but also delivered what was a game-winning block on “The King.”
Not only that, but Hezonja also stared down at Lebron after blocking him.
Hezonja finished with 17 points and eight rebounds in his return following an injury. Lebron posted 33 points, eight rebounds and six assists but went 4/15 in the fourth period.
