After missing the previous NBA 2018-19 Regular Season contest due to injury, Luka Doncic returned to action with his fifth triple-double of his young NBA career. The 20-year-old Slovenian posted 29 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists on Monday, but the Dallas Mavericks lost to the New Orleans Pelicans in overtime.
Doncic not only witnessed Dirk Nowitzki’s rise to the sixth spot of the NBA all-time scoring list, but assisted on the historic bucket during the first quarter. He remained on the court for 39 minutes proving his recent knee injury is minor. However, fellow European Maxi Kleber exited the game with a left wrist injury.
