Portland Trail Blazer’s Jusuf Nurkic underwent season-ending surgery on the compound fractures he suffered in his left leg in the game against the Brooklyn Nets.
The surgery was successful and some positive news arrived for the 24-year-old Bosnian center who didn’t suffer any nerve or muscle damage in his leg, according to Shams Charania.
Nurkic will be out indefinitely and will miss the playoffs of the 2018-19 NBA season which was the best of his career averaging 15.6 points, 10.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 72 games.
