Giannis Antetokounmpo paved the way for the Milwaukee Bucks in their win against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday. He poured 34 points, but left the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season contest with 7:46 to go due to right ankle soreness. That ankle has been bothering the past weeks.
“I’m definitely working on it on a daily basis trying to get it healthy, stronger, trying to get my mobility back. It’s not going to be easy. I don’t like missing games. I have to work through it while playing and try to get my strength back. The doctors have done a great job keeping me healthy all year” he said following the match.
Despite his optimism, he might be rested as a precaution in the following games. On Thursday he exited with the Bucks well in front. He was 10/18 from the field in 32 minutes, added nine rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block to his tally.
