Luka Doncic returned to action after missing two games with a right thigh contusion and made 11/21 shots from the field for 27 points, also grabbed 12 rebounds for his 23rd double-double of the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season. He added six dimes and one block to his tally, but the Minnesota Timberwolves defeated the Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center.
The Slovenian sensation had the opportunity to win the game at the buzzer, but preferred to pass the ball to Jalen Brunson who missed his three-pointer. “For me it’s not a question. I trusted him. The whole team trusted him. It was a great shot. Sometimes it’s not going to go in” he mentioned after the match.
