The Skirvin Hilton has really spooked Tim Hardaway Jr. throughout his NBA career.

Tim Hardaway Jr. presented his thoughts on believing or not that ghosts exist on the Players’ Tribune. The Dallas Mavericks player pointed out the Skirvin Hilton at Oklahoma City is haunted.

“Let me start by saying I’ve seen Paranormal Activity.

No, that doesn’t mean I’m any kind of expert, but that movie definitely left a mark on me. It was the first thing that really got me thinking … I dunno, maaaybe ghosts are a thing?

I’m not gonna sit here and say, “Yo, ghosts are real!!” Then everybody is going to be like, Hey, there goes Timmy, the ghost guy!

But at the same time I’m not going to say outright that ghosts aren’t real either. Because, honestly, that sounds like I’m trying to challenge or call out the spirit worlds or something. Like if you were a ghost, wouldn’t you go out of your way to haunt the people who don’t even think you exist? I mean, that’s basically what happened to the people in Paranormal Activity. And I’m not trying to bring that energy on myself! No sir.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut.

There’s this one hotel.

It’s this place called the Skirvin Hilton, a hotel in downtown Oklahoma City.

Straight up? The Skirvin is haunted, y’all.

I’m not playing. And if you don’t believe me, I understand why … because at first I was the same way. Complete skeptic.

Until I had, well, I guess you could call it … an experience.

But I’ll say more about that in a bit.”
