Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo won’t play in Saturday’s (6/4) game against the Brooklyn Nets due to calf soreness.
“I would not term it resting,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer commented on Giannis’ absence, per ESPN’s Malika Andrews. This will be the ninth game that the “Greek Freak” loses this season.
Giannis and the Bucks were coming into the match vs. the Nets after the win over the Philadelphia 76ers that secured Milwaukee the best record in the 2018-2019 NBA regular season. Antetokounmpo finished with 45 points, 13 rebounds, six assists and five blocks vs. the Sixers.
