The NCAA season came to an end Monday night as the Virginia Cavaliers defeated the Texas Tech Red Raiders with an 85-77 victory in the Final Four final.

NBA-ready De’Andre Hunter led Virginia with 27 points and nine rebounds across 44 minutes on the floor.

At the same time, Texas’ Italian guard Davide Moretti dropped 15 points on 5-10 FG shooting along with two rebounds in his 40-minute presence on the floor. On the other side, Fransesco Badocchi, the Italian forward of Virginia, wasn’t used in the game.

This marks Virginia’s first NCAA men’s basketball title in its history.
