Vlade Divac has agreed to terms on a four-year extension to remain the Sacramento Kings Vice President and General Manager according to The Athletic’s Sam Amick.
Per Amick, Divac was “rewarded” for the Kings’ “surprise” run in the 2018-2019, despite the team missing the playoffs.
The Kings hired Divac as Vice President on March 2015. In August of the same year, the Serbian former All-Star was appointed General Manager of the club.
Divac had spent six seasons as a Sacramento player, from 1998 to 2004. In 2002, paired with fellow Serbian player Peja Stojakovic (currently the director of player personnel and development with the Kings) he helped the team reach the 2002 Finals.
