The MVP front-runners in Giannis Antetokounmpo and James Harden finished the 2018-19 NBA season on a high note as they grabbed the Player of the Month (March/April) awards for their respective conferences.
Giannis averaged 30 points, 12.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.8 blocks per game and led the Milwaukee Bucks to a 12-4 run during that time as they finished the season with the league-best 60-22 record. This is the Greak Freak’s fourth Player of the Month award this season, more than any other player and missing only the one from January which belonged to Joel Embiid.
Harden grabbed his third monthly award as he put on 34.8 points, 6.9 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game leading the Houston Rockets on a 16-4 stretch and helped them finish the season with a 53-29 record at the fourth spot of the Western Conference.
